The vulnerability is a directory traversal issue found in the JoomlaWorks AllVideos (Jw_allVideos) plugin versions 3.0 through 3.2 for Joomla!. The flaw exists in the includes/download.php file and can be exploited by remote attackers to read arbitrary files. The attackers can exploit this vulnerability by using a modified dot dot (./../.../) in the file parameter. This vulnerability was made public on 14th February 2010.
Overview
The vulnerability is a directory traversal issue that allows remote attackers to read arbitrary files. The flaw exists in the includes/download.php file in the JoomlaWorks AllVideos (Jw_allVideos) plugin versions 3.0 through 3.2 for Joomla!. The attackers can exploit this vulnerability by using a modified dot dot (./../.../) in the file parameter.
