The CVE-2010-1777 is a buffer overflow vulnerability that was discovered in Apple iTunes. This vulnerability exists in versions of iTunes before 9.2.1. The flaw allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code or cause a denial of service (application crash) by sending a crafted itpc: URL. This vulnerability was made public on 19th July 2010 and was updated by Apple on 18th September 2017.

Overview
