Adobe Flash Player versions before 10.3.183.23 and 11.x before 11.4.402.265 on Windows and Mac OS X, before 10.3.183.23 and 11.x before 11.2.202.238 on Linux, before 11.1.111.16 on Android 2.x and 3.x, and before 11.1.115.17 on Android 4.x; Adobe AIR before 3.4.0.2540; and Adobe AIR SDK before 3.4.0.2540 are vulnerable to a denial of service attack due to a logic error in handling Firefox dialogs.
Overview
This vulnerability allows attackers to crash affected applications by leveraging a logic error during the processing of Firefox dialogs. The issue affects multiple versions of Adobe Flash Player and Adobe AIR across different operating systems.
Remediation
To mitigate this vulnerability, users are advised to update their Adobe Flash Player to version 10.3.183.23 or 11.4.402.265 for Windows and Mac OS X, version 11.2.202.238 for Linux, version 11.1.111.16 for Android 2.x and 3.x, and version 11.1.115.17 for Android 4.x. Additionally, Adobe AIR and Adobe AIR SDK should be updated to version 3.4.0.2540 or later.
