A buffer overflow vulnerability exists in the cgi-bin/user/Config.cgi script of AVTECH AVN801 DVR with firmware versions 1017-1003-1009-1003 and earlier. This vulnerability can be exploited by remote attackers to crash the device and potentially execute arbitrary code by sending a long string in the Network.SMTP.Receivers parameter.
