The vulnerability in the reverse-proxy feature of IBM Security Access Manager (ISAM) for Web 8.0 with firmware 8.0.0.2 and 8.0.0.3 is due to the incorrect interpretation of the jct-nist-compliance parameter. This incorrect interpretation results in weak SSL encryption settings that are not compliant with NIST SP 800-131A. This vulnerability makes it easier for remote attackers to obtain sensitive information. The vulnerability was made public on 18th June 2014 and was updated on 28th August 2017.
Overview
