Overview
MyBB, also known as MyBulletinBoard, is a free and open-source forum software developed by the MyBB Group. It is written in PHP, supports MySQL, PostgreSQL and SQLite as database systems and has database failover support. The CVE-2014-3827 identifies multiple cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerabilities in versions of MyBB before 1.8.4. These vulnerabilities allow remote authenticated users to inject arbitrary web script or HTML, potentially leading to unauthorized access or data manipulation.
