Description Preview

The web management interface of Ubiquiti airMAX, airFiber, airGateway, and EdgeSwitch XP (formerly TOUGHSwitch) is affected by a vulnerability that allows an unauthenticated attacker to upload and write arbitrary files using directory traversal techniques. Exploiting this vulnerability can lead to the attacker gaining root privileges on the affected system. The vulnerability was reported in May 2016 and fixed in July 2015 for specific product versions.
