A denial-of-service vulnerability exists in the traffic-logging functionality of FreyrSCADA IEC-60879-5-104 Server Simulator 21.04.028. When the simulator processes specially crafted network packets, it can enter a state that causes the application to become unresponsive or crash. This vulnerability allows an attacker to send malicious packets to the server simulator, disrupting its normal operation and potentially causing service outages for systems relying on the simulator for testing and development purposes.
