The authenticated firmware update capability of the firmware for Mennekes Smart / Premium Chargingpoints can be abused for command execution. This is due to the fact that OS commands are not properly neutralized when certain fields are passed to the underlying OS. This vulnerability has a high impact on the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the system. The attack can be executed over a network with low complexity and requires low privileges.
